FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Walt Disney World® Resort and Disneyland ® vacation packages can be held for 3 days without a deposit at which point a $200 deposit per room would be due. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and the deposit is 100% refundable outside of your final payment date. Room only reservations can also be held for 3 days without a deposit at which time a one night's room deposit would be due which is 100% refundable up until 5 days prior to arrival. Disney Cruise Line staterooms can be held for 3 days without a deposit and then a 20% deposit per stateroom is required with final payment for most sailings due 75 or 90 days prior to the sail date. Adventures by Disney® requires a $300 per person deposit and final payment is due within 90 days. Deposits are refundable for up to 14 days after booking. Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa requires a one night’s deposit due at the time of booking which is refundable outside of 5 days prior to arrival. Final payment is due upon check-in at Aulani. For all other destinations, the deposit and payment amounts as well as policies will vary. We will explain everything in full detail.

That is perfectly fine, since Disney allows reservations booked directly to be transferred to a travel agency within 30 days of booking as long as it has not been paid in full. So if you booked your vacation no more than 30 days ago, the reservation can be easily transferred to Magical Memories by Michelle so you can still take advantage of all of the services available to clients.

There is no extra cost. Since we work directly with The Walt Disney Travel Company to book reservations for all of our clients and we get paid a direct commission from Disney. The best part is that this cost is not added on to your vacation package or cruise. It is penny to penny the same and you will get a full service travel professional to plan your vacation and answer all of your questions with no fees ever.

Although our specialty is Disney Destinations, we can also plan vacations for clients to the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, Bermuda and Hawaii as well as booking vacations on all major cruise lines. There are no booking fees either and you will receive full planning services as needed.

Each vendor charges revision and/or cancellation fees which differ from one to the next. We will advise you every step of the way of the penalties, if any, that may be required with your vacation booking. Magical Memories by Michelle never charges any fees for revisions or cancellations and we can also recommend and book a travel protection plan in order to give you that added protection that you may require in the event that you need to change or cancel your vacation.
